![]() ![]() i ordered without the breakers, the manual lists a number of brands that the unit will accept, i probably have some already or i'll run to local hardware store and pick them up. i honestly will rarely ever camp with full hook-ups and the most ac power i'll ever draw will be a small elec heater. if i wanted to add breakers/circuits, i could get a twin 30/15 and twin 15/15 to have the one main and a total of 3 15amp breakers, my dad said that is unnecessary for my needs, so i'll go with what he says. he recommended a 30amp main breaker and a 15 amp breaker for my outlet(s). i've got no problems or questions with the DC, but i've only done a LITTLE ac work.fortunately i have very little to do on this, and my dad said he'd offer assistance if i need it.Īs far as breakers, the owner of that company emailed me back, said it is a great unit and should be more than suitable for my purpose. i'll post some info on this and additional projects as well - i'll be starting a restoration/upgrade thread here pretty soon when i get a couple items done off my to-do/project list and get a few pics stashed up!įunny, i'm about the opposite on the wiring. I do not have feedback for you on this particular unit yet, but as my remodel and upgrade process progresses, i'll be starting a thread and adding lots of pictures. they also have the 35amp charger/ converter that was mentioned in an above thread. also, prices are very good compared to other sites i've found and they stand behind their warranties. I bought from this site, i have emailed the owner a couple times in the past and he is very helpful and knowledgeable. this comes with a dc distribution, and ac distribution, plus 3-phase battery charging.gone are the days of needing to hook up to my battery charger in the garage. ![]() i have opted to purchase (last night) and will install a WFCO-8725 (25amp is more than enough for my needs). My existing converter is a little old POS 6amp, this does almost nothing for me other than power 3 lights and a water pump. one of these upgrades being the power converter. doing some mods, upgrades, etc to my 85 coleman now. Hi there, i'm in the same boat right now. ![]()
